Update from NH |
Thursday, February 21, 2001: The first show today at the New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord went quite well. About 50 students came during the lunchtime show - and we expect more for tonight's performance.
It's been a great trip - albiet a cold one! After living in Texas for 3+ years, my blood is a little too thin for this northern weather! Concord is a pretty little town though - and very friendly! This is my first time in NH. I hope to be back soon for another show - with some time for sightseeing!
The night show went well, too. Several students were in the audience from NHTI and Notre Dame in Manchester. It was good to talk to some of them afterwards.
Thanks to everyone in the Student Activities office - especially Carmen - as well as my "crew": Deb and Kevin. Carmen said that the reviews from students had many of them rating my program a perfect "10" - which is great news. There's even talk of me coming back to perform at all 7 of the NHTI campuses.
Next stop, Atlanta...
