Texas Thespian Conference 2000

Lisa was very pleased to return to Corpus Christi as a featured presenter at the annual conference. Last year, she and members of her workshop from Lee High School performed abbreviated versions of their monologues. This year she was invited to present her show in its entirety at workshops on November 17 and 18.

"I love performing and working with students this age," said Lisa, "Their energy and enthusiasm is fantastic. Hopefully some day I won't have to do this show because eating disorders will be a thing of the past. In the mean time, it's very obvious that this is a very big issue for youth today."

Over 200 high school theatre students and their teachers came to the 2 workshops. Each performance included a post-show Q&A session. Here are some quotes from the attendees:
